We are a local,  woman- owned microgreens farm nestled in the old New England farmland of Sherman, CT. Our indoor microgreen farm occupies a restored 1850's milk barn providing fresh, highly nutritional greens year- round.

In a vastly changing world, it's our purpose to highlight mutually beneficial relationships between food production, sustainability and human health while honoring the history of our agricultural roots. Our brand "Harmoniously Grown" consciously chooses systems to support a mutually beneficial organism in our product and business practices. What are Microgreens?

Essentially Microgreens are crops grown 7-21 days harvested after the first leaves have grown. Microgreens are highly dense packages of nutrients containing 40x more nutrition than fully grown crops! They are one of nature's greatest superfoods!
The Bio-Available nutrients in Microgreens are well-known worldwide for their ability to support wellness. Think of Microgreens as a Multi-Vitamin in its natural form so your body can recognize the nutrients and put to use the Vitamins and Minerals available. As our soil becomes more and more depleted of nutrients, causing our food to become less nutritious, discovering modern farming techniques is vital to our health especially in a global shift in the climate.

Amaranth

Amaranth tastes deliciously sweet with a gentle earthy flavor. 

In the microgreens world, amaranth, in particular Garnet Amaranth microgreens, are one of the healthiest containing the highest levels of vitamins C, E, A, and K, all 9 amino acids and packed with protein!

Red amaranth pairs well with green apples, carrots, oranges, onions, peppers, and light cooked meals such as seafood

Arugula

A spicy & earthy microgreen with a kick! Full of vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus. Crisp and fresh, has a very strong peppery flavor, rich, and a slight cabbage flavor.

Vitamins: A, B6, C, K, Folate.
Minerals: Calcium, Copper,  Fiber, Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Phosphates,  Potassium, Riboflavin, Thiamine, Zinc.

Beets

Red Beet microgreens provide vibrant color to any dish and are considered one of the more nutritious microgreens. They are a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as fiber. They are also a good source of phytonutrients, which are plant-based chemicals that may have health benefits.

Broccoli

Rich in micronutrients! Packed full of vitamin A, B, C, E, and k. Calcium, magnesium, potassium, and high levels of sulforaphane. Flavor profile: Broccoli has a tender/crunchy texture with a mild broccoli flavor. 
Minerals: Manganese, Potassium, Phosphorus, Selenium.

Cilantro microgreens are versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes, including salads, soups, and sandwiches.

Pea Shoots- Yellow

Harvested young, these pea shoots provide a crunchy bite brightening any dish with canary- yellow color. High levels of beta-carotene which our bodies turn in to vitamin A, B6, vitamin C, magnesium, phosphorus, and folate which is an essential building block for our bodies! High in protein! Flavor profile: Sweet, crisp, crunchy, and taste delicious like young snow peas. 

Pairs well in Asian cuisine and in salads!

Radish- Daikon

A deep green garnish with a surprising spicy kick,  Fresh, nutty, crunchy, and spicy. Radish microgreens are a great way to add nutrients and flavor to your diet. Radishes are an excellent source of vitamins A, C, E, and K, along with calcium, iron, and dietary fiber. They also contain high levels of antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation in the body.
